Specialized Learning Support Services 

Learning Support

Our Specialized Learning Support Tutoring is designed for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning differences. We provide individualized, research-based instruction tailored to each student's unique strengths, challenges, and learning goals.

Our mission is to help students build confidence, develop effective learning strategies, and achieve greater academic independence. By focusing on each student's potential, we empower them to overcome obstacles and experience lasting success.

For students who benefit from support during the school day, Academic Independence also offers on-campus tutoring. Contact us to discuss logistics and determine if this option is the right fit for your student.

Dyslexia Support

Our Dyslexia program, based on the renowned Neuhaus Education methods, provides personalized support to help students develop essential skills in reading, comprehension, and writing. Using a multi-sensory, evidence-based approach, we address the unique challenges of dyslexia while building confidence and academic success..

Math Study Essentials

Dyscalculia Support

Our Dyscalculia program helps students strengthen math comprehension, number sense, and problem-solving skills through personalized, evidence-based instruction. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps, we build confidence and equip students with practical strategies for success in the classroom and everyday life.

Writing At Desk

Dysgraphia Support

Certified through Disability Labs, our dysgraphia specialists use evidence-based strategies to help students strengthen handwriting, written expression, spelling, and fine motor skills. We provide personalized support that builds confidence and empowers students to become more successful writers.

This form is for both enrollment and re-enrollment. It is required for ALL students requesting tutoring. Enrollment is required in order for students to access booking services through the Member's Area. Please allow up to 5 business days for the placement of your student with a tutor at the start of the Fall Semester.


One-on-One tutoring rates begin at $145 per hour.

Enrollment Fee
TEST PREP FEE: ACT/SAT and ISEE fees include an account to TestInnovators for practice tests and targeted assignments. Please note this fee is for materials only and does NOT include sessions. ISEE sessions are $155 per hour. ACT/SAT are $205 per hour.
Executive Functioning Fee: Please note this fee is for materials only and does NOT include sessions. EF sessions are $155 per hour.
